The precalibrated, single-Input Digi-Sense Type J/K/T Thermocouple Thermometer has an easy-to-use control panel and Min/Max and hold functions. It features offset adjustment, °F and °C selection, backlit display, low-battery indicator and auto-shutoff.
The RET-2 (rat) and RET-3 (mouse) rectal probes are compatible with this thermocouple meter.

How long does the RET-3 probe have to be in the mouse to obtain accurate readings?
The response of the RET-3 probe is 0.5 seconds. Once the probe is properly positioned in the animal, it should provide accurate readings within 0.5 seconds.
