Homogenizer

The BeadBlaster™ 24 is a high-performance benchtop homogenizer designed for rapid and efficient lysis, grinding, and homogenization of a wide range of biological samples. Even tough and resistant samples can often be fully processed in 35 seconds or less.

A stainless steel tube carrier holds up to 24 samples and uses an optimized high-speed 3D motion to generate powerful impacts between the sample and beads, promoting efficient cellular disruption and release of nucleic acids, proteins, and other cellular components. Following homogenization, samples can be centrifuged and the resulting supernatant collected for downstream applications.

Digital controls provide precise adjustment of speed and processing time, while programmable cycles with built-in rest periods help protect heat-sensitive samples. Up to 50 programs can be stored for convenient repeat processing.

The transparent lid allows users to monitor samples during operation, while the integrated safety lock prevents the lid from being opened while the instrument is running. A brushless motor provides quiet, maintenance-free operation.

A broad selection of prefilled bead tubes for different sample types and applications are available, including Triple-Pure™ zirconium bead kits designed for molecular biology workflows. A starter kit is also available with a variety of bead types to help optimize sample processing conditions.

The BeadBlaster™ 24R is a high-performance bead homogenizer with integrated refrigeration, designed to protect temperature-sensitive samples from heat-related degradation during processing.

Unlike systems that require dry ice, liquid nitrogen, or an external cooling source, the BeadBlaster 24R uses a built-in compressor-based refrigeration system. Simply set the desired temperature and pre-cool the chamber before processing. The temperature is maintained throughout homogenization to help keep samples consistently cool.

The unit processes up to 24 samples simultaneously using an optimized high-speed 3D motion that generates powerful bead impacts for efficient cell lysis and sample homogenization.

Digital controls provide easy adjustment of processing parameters, while up to 50 programs can be stored for convenient repeat applications.

A brushless motor provides quiet, maintenance-free operation. A wide selection of prefilled bead tubes and bulk beads is available for different sample types, including Triple-Pure™ zirconium bead kits that are tested to be nuclease-free and well suited for molecular biology applications.

The BeadBlaster™ 96 is a versatile, high-performance bead mill homogenizer designed for a wide range of biological, environmental, and industrial sample processing applications.

With interchangeable adapters for microplates, microtubes, and 15/50 mL tubes, the system can accommodate different sample formats. A variety of grinding jars and balls is also available for wet homogenization, dry grinding, and cryogenic grinding.

Its powerful motor and optimized sample motion enable fast and efficient processing. A large touchscreen provides easy digital control of operating parameters, with up to 20 programs available for storage and repeat use.

A clear, wrap-around safety cover provides visibility during processing and automatically locks when the unit is operating.

The BeadBug™ 3 is a compact, high-energy benchtop homogenizer designed for efficient cell disruption and sample lysis in low- to medium-throughput laboratories.

Capable of processing up to three samples simultaneously, the BeadBug 3 delivers rapid and consistent homogenization, often in as little as 45 seconds. Samples are processed in convenient disposable 2 mL screw-cap microtubes, while the optimized mixing motion generates high-velocity bead impacts to effectively disrupt cells and tissues.

A wide selection of bead materials and sizes allows the system to be tailored to different sample types and applications, from biological cells and microorganisms to tougher tissue samples.

Designed for samples that are too challenging for standard laboratory vortexers, the BeadBug 3 provides a simple, economical alternative to larger homogenization systems. Its compact 7 Ă— 8-inch footprint and three-tube capacity make it an ideal solution when space is limited but reliable sample disruption is essential.

The BeadBug™ 6 is a compact, high-performance bead homogenizer designed for efficient sample disruption in medium-throughput laboratories.

Using a powerful three-dimensional shaking motion and application-specific beads, the BeadBug 6 rapidly disrupts cells and tissues to release nucleic acids, proteins, and other cellular components. Up to six 2 mL samples can be processed simultaneously, with most applications completed in 45 seconds or less. An optional adapter also accommodates two 5 mL tubes.

Simple programmable controls allow users to set speed, time, cycles, and pauses, while the sealed tubes help minimize cross-contamination. A wide selection of bead materials and sizes is available in both prefilled tubes and bulk formats to support a variety of sample types.

The BenchMasher™ is a high-performance paddle blender designed for fast, consistent mixing and homogenization of solid and semi-solid samples. Its enclosed processing design makes it particularly well suited for applications where minimizing cross-contamination is critical, including pathogen and microbial testing of food and water filter samples.

Samples up to 400 mL are placed in sterile blender bags, which remain sealed throughout processing. Rapidly moving paddles thoroughly mix and break down the sample without directly contacting it, helping reduce contamination between samples.

A large touchscreen provides simple control of mixing speed and cycle time, while adjustable paddle positioning allows processing to be optimized for different sample types. For temperature-sensitive workflows, the chamber can be heated and maintained up to 65°C.

The removable door provides easy access to the chamber and stainless-steel paddles. A built-in 254 nm UV light can also be activated for chamber decontamination.

The D1000™ is a compact handheld rotor-stator homogenizer designed for rapid homogenization, emulsification, suspension, and disruption of biological samples.
Its powerful 130 W motor operates from 8,500 to 30,000 rpm, providing efficient mechanical shearing for a wide range of sample types. Most samples can be fully homogenized in 30 seconds or less.
Four generator probe sizes are available to accommodate sample volumes from 0.1 mL to 250 mL. The included 5 mm and 7 mm probes are ideal for microtubes, while larger probes can be used with 15 mL and 50 mL tubes and larger vessels.
All probes are made from stainless steel and can be sterilized by autoclaving
