The Low Frequency Desktop Reader is a stationary microchip reader for laboratory animal identification and temperature-compatible UID transponders. It connects directly to a PC by USB or HID interface, making it a practical option for reading UID microchips in a fixed workstation setup.
The reader supports UID UC-Series microchips, including the Temperature Microchip, and can also read other low frequency transponders operating at 125 kHz and 134.2 kHz. A white LED ring shows when the reader is powered and flashes when a microchip is detected.
