The CO2 Monitor is the ideal capnography solution for your animal monitoring system. It provides technologically advanced measurement of End-Tidal Carbon Dioxide, respiratory rate, and a clear, accurate capnogram at all respiratory rates up to 150 breaths per minute.
Unlike other CO2 monitors on the market, the Kent Scientific CO2 Monitor is a main stream sampling device that connects directly to the air stream of the animal. Side stream sampling relies on a continuous air flow pump, removing air from the air stream when trying to ventilate the animal. The Kent Scientific CO2 Monitor connects to the expiratory line close to the animal and measures the CO2 in all the expired breaths.
