Our Micro Cannula is ideal for carotid or femoral artery placement in mice, rats, and other small animal blood vessels. It can also be used with a pressure transducer for blood pressure measurement. The cannula has a contoured-tip stainless steel stylet to assist with placement. A movable “shoulder” ring provides a tie-in point to prevent accidental removal. The cannula may be left in place for two hours or more, and with appropriate maintenance, may be re-used multiple times.
